The December 1, 1975, meeting of the Village or Dublin was called to or1er by
Mayor Joseph Dixon. Roll call as follows: Charles Coffman, present; Lewis
Geese, present; Catherine Ifeadlee, present; Charles Ificks, present; Robert
Karrer, absent; Wilbur Ulrey, present. The minutes of the November 17 meet-
ing were read, the mayor asked that an addition concerning additional space
needed by the village be added, stating that not only the police needed more
room but that council also needed more space. Coffman moved the minutes with
the addmtion be approved, Hicks seconded, all present voted in favor.

The clerk read the results of the election concerning the water improvement
as received from the board of elections, 420 for, 425 against. Coffman moved, rJ.rey
seconded that the 2nd & 3rd r ,ading of all orminances & resolutions be by titlE onl~
Ordinance 65-75 accepting the final plat plan of the Johnston subdivision was
read for the second time.

Ordinance 66-75 confirming the appointment of Robin Geis as a full time police
man was Bead for a second time, Coffman moved to dispense with the three time
reading rule, Hicks seconded, Coffman, yes; Geese, no; Headlee, no; Hicks,
yes; Karrer, absent; Ulrey, yes. Motion railed.
Ordinance 67-75 proposing a new contract with Burgess and Niple ror engineer-
ing services was read for a second time. Hicks moved the following amendemnt
to ordinance 67-75 that the contract for engineering services be divided into
one for planning and another for other engineering services, Headlee seconded
No voted taken on motion, Coffman moved to table vote on amendment, Ulrey
seconded, vote to table as follows, COffman, yes; Geese, yes; Headlee, no;
Hicks, yes; Karrer, absent; Ulrey, yes.
Ordinance 68-75 to provide for the issuance of notes by the Village of Dublin
in the princinal sum of $814,000.00 in anticipat:LD;Jl of the levy and collection
of special assessments for construction and maintaining a sewerage collection
system was introduced by Geese and read by the cleric, Ulrey moved to dispense
with the tree time reading rule, Headlee seconded, all present voted in favor
of the motion and the ordinance.

Resolution 48075 approving and accepting certain easements for sanitary sewers 1~S it
introduced by Coffman and read by the clerk, Hicks moved to dispense with the
three time reading rule, Headlee seconded, all present voted in favor of the
motion and the resolution.

Ordinance 69-75 pDoviding for a chan~ in zoning in certain real estate on
Bridge Street from LI to R-4 was introduced by Hicks and re<;d by the clene, a
public hearing was then held, the school offered the only opposition which
concerned traffic on high school road.
Mayor Dixon presented John Thomas with a proclamation honoring Mr Thomas for
his many years of service to the village as a reserve police officer.

Ulrey peported the committee needed further time for additional study of
expanded village office facilities. Mrs Davis of Hanna Hills protested to the
NO THRU TRAFFIC signs on Bright Road. Hc?adlee requested that council be pro-
vided with more information on the men recommerlded as policemen. Mayor Dixon
explained the process in selecting new nolicemen. The mayor declared the
