Roll call as follows: Charles Coffman, pre- sent; Lewis Geese, present; Catherine Headlee, present; Charles Hicks, present. Council received a notice that Highlight Investment was seeking a C-1&2 liquor permit for 137 West Bridge, Ulrey moved, Coffman seconded that council ask for a hearing on this permit, all voted in favor. Resolution 45-75 commending the Dublin High School footbal team for its Championship season was moved by Karrer and seconded, by Coffman, all voted in f'vor of the resolution. A copy of the resolution was teen presented to Coach Greg Merrill and his co captain. Resolution 46-75 commending the Dublin High School golf team for its champ- ionships was moved by Coffman and seconded by Headlee, all voted in favor of tre resolution, a copy of the resolution was then presented to Coc'ch Norm Roll and his captain. Resolution 47-75 accepting certain sewer easements was introduced by Coffman and read by the clerk, Karrer moved tOidispe.;t.se with the three time reading rule, Coffman seconded, all voted in favor of the motion and the resolution. ,.... Ordinance 64-75 accepting the bid of Bob McDorman Chevrolet for two new police cruisersat cOst of $7865.12 was introduced by Karrer and read by the clerk, Coffman movedfu dispense with the three time reading ru~~, Geese sec- onded, all voted in favor of the motion and the ordinance. -- Ordinance 65-75 accepting the final paat of the Johnston subdivision was introduced by Coffman and read for the first time. Ordinance 66-75 confirming the appointment of Robin Geis as a policamean of the village on a six months probationary basis was introduced by Ulrey and read by the clerk, Ulrey moved to dispense with the three time reading rule, Coffman seconded, Coffman, yes; Geese, no; Headlee, no; Hicks, yes; Karrer, yes; Ulrey, yes. Motion failed. Ordinance 67-75 authorizing the mayor, the clerk treasurer and the village adminstrator to enter into a new contract for engineering services with Brugess & Niple Ltd. was introduced by Karrer and read bv the clerk for the first time. Fonn No. 1097 ~ 11 eld NOVEMBER'l,u/tM( CONTINUED 19 Ordinance 60-75 proposing to rexone 105 acres North of Brad Road and West of Dublin Road was removed from the table on a motion by Ulrey and a second by Karrer, all voted in f:~vor of removing from the table, after further discussi the vote was taken, COffman, yes; Geese, yes; Headlee, no; Hicks, no; Karrer, .yes; Ulrey, yes;/ Ordinance 60-75 passed. ...... Coffman moved, Karrer seconded that council accept accept $11,000.00 as settlement for the Thomas sewer easement, all voted in favor. .... Council discussed the River Forest Sewer project, Dublin owns the line but Muirfield controls some capacity that the village cannot grant, planning for this area is on the EPA funding list. Mayor Dixon pointed out a need for more opoli e office space, suggesting giving entire municpial building to the ,police department and finding more space for village adminstrator, mayor's office and council chambers.
