SeptembE!r8" ~975 1\4 eeting ~ -r- 19 The September 8, 1975 meeting of the Village of Dublin Council was called to order by Mayor Joseph Dixon. Roll call - Charles Coffman, present; Lewis Geese, present; Catherine Headlee, present; Charles Hicks, present; Robert Karrer, present; Wilbur Ulrey, present. The Mayor then appointed Joyce Richards acting clerk. The minutes of the August 18 meeting were read. Correspondence read: Invitation from Muirfie1d to participate in a bus tour on September 13, 9:30 a.m. to view low density and cluster housing, apartments and condominiums; explanation of rate increases for gas service to the Village; notification of application for permit for a beer and wine carry out at 137 W. Bridge Street, to be brought before Council at the next meeting. Ordinance 49-75 proposing hourly wage increases for the two full-time mainte- nance men Robert Eger and Charles Pressly was read for the third time, vote on the ordinance was unanimous. Ordinance 51-75 to authorize issuance of bonds of the Village in the amount of $200,000 for the purpose of constructing a municipal collection system was introduced by Karrer and read. Geese moved to dispense with the three time reading rule, Ulrey seconded, all voted in favor of the motion and the ordinance. Ordinance 52-75 authorizing and directing the Village Administrator to advertis for bids for Dublin Community Park improvements was introduced by Headlee and read. Hicks moved to dispense with the three time reading rule, Coffman seconded, all voted in favor of the motion and the ordinance. ,.... Ordinance 53-75 authorizing and directing the Village Administrator to advertis for bids for Dublin Community Park playground equipment and other accessories was introduced by Coffman and read. Hicks moved to dispense with the three time reading rule, Ulrey seconded, all voted in favor of the motion and the ordinance. ....... The following topics were discussed briefly: Zoning Commission to be advertised; status of of River Forest on sewer line tie-in; results mini-bus service to the village.
