The August 4, 1975 meeting of the Village of Dublin council was oalled to onder
by Mayor Jospeh Dixon. Roll call- Charles COffman, present; Lewis Geese, pre-
sent; Catherine Headlee, present; Charles Hicks, present; Robert Karrer, pre-
sent; Wilbur Ulrey, present. The minutes of the July 21 meeting were read,
,- Ulrey moved approval, Hicks seconded, all voted in f\vor of approval of the
minutes.

Coffman moved payment of the bills, Karrer seconded, all voted in favor.

Ordinance 45-75 establishing the hours of work, rate of pay, benefits, etc
..... for the poli::~e chief was read for the second time.
Coffman moved to take ordinance 37-75 amending subdivision regualations for park
fees in PUD zoned areas from the teble, Headlee seconded, all voted in favor,
the ordinance was then read by the clerk, vote30n ordinance 37-75 as follows:
COffman, no; Geese, no~ Headlee, yes; Hicks, no; Karre , no; Ulrey, yes;
ordinance 37-75 failed to pass.
Ordinance 48-75 authorizing the village adminstrator to advertise for bids for
the drainage improvements on Orchard Court and River Knolls was introduoed by
Ulrey and read by the clerk, Coffman moved to dispense with the three time read-
ing rule, Hicks seconded, all voted in favor of the motion and the erdinanCe~.
Resolution 35-75 accepting certain easements for water lines and a booster staticn
was introduced by Karrer and read by the clerk, Hicks moved to dispense ....,ith
the three time reading rule, Coffman seconded, all voted in favor of the motion
and the resolution.
Ordinance 49-75 inoreasing the hourly wage of the two full time maintainence men,
Robert Eger to $3.55 per hour and Charles T Pressley to $4.00 per hour was
intrdduoed by Headlee and read for the first time.

Karrer moved, Coffman seconded to reconsider the vote on resolution 321;115 which
ceclared the neoessity of submitting to the electors of the village of Dublin
the question of issuing bonds for the purpose of corlgructing a municipal waterworks.
~he new vote Ion resolution as follows: COffman, no; Geese, no; Headle~, no;
HiCks, no; Karrer, no; Ulrey, no.
Representatives from Midvo presented to council the possibility of Midvo dedi-
cating the road leading into the M~dvo complex to the village, other companies
are in the complex and have no road frontage. Coffman moved to pass on re-
~uest to planning and zoning, Geese seconded, all in favor.

Solicitor Richardson presented a petition signed by nearly 150 residents of
iver Forest concerning sanitary sewers in the area, Mr Taylor represented the
rea and noted that talks had been held with Muirfield conoerning capacity in
he force main along Dublin Road, tT1ere is ten year ,old engineering plans for
sewer lines in the area and Bill Meyers has a copy of these plans, further
tudy to be made, counil voiced no objection if feasible.

Riohardson also noted that in accordance with the Columbus water contract the
village is responsible for removing water from the fire hydrants suring the win r
and reflective painting of the hydrants, solicitor to contaot the fire board
conaerning a con ract with them for the fire ,department to take care of this.
Richardson also reported that the trial with.Complete General was not held
today, the judge noted he has jurisdiction in the Franklin County area only,
new tra.\l date set January 20, 1976 and Complete Gene'al is to present plans
for the area around the lake before that time.
Coffman suggested and then moved that the village adminstrator look into and
car~y out the possibility of breaking down the sewer bidding into more than
one ,bid so smaller contractors might bid on a single part, Geese seconded,
all voted in favor.
The .mayor noted a problem with building inspection in the Muirfield area with
eight inch driveway tile being smaller that buildings regulations require,
planning and zoning to discuss at August meeting.
