HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 069-16RECORD OF RESOLUTIONS Dayton Legal Blank, Inc., Form No. 30045 Resolution No. 69-16 Passed , 20 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE LOWEST AND BEST BID FOR THE 2017 FACILITIES LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR THE PROJECT. WHEREAS, formal advertising and competitive bidding procedures have been conducted, pursuant to Section 8.04 of the Revised Charter, for the 201.'/ Facilities Landscape Maintenance; and WHEREAS, Council has determined that the base bid in the amount of $'/9,500.00 submitted by C1 -MS is the lowest and best bid; and WHEREAS, this project is programmed in the 201Y Operating Budget; and WHEREAS, funding will be available in the 207 Operating Budget. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State of Ohio, of the elected members concurring, that: Section 1© The base bid in the amount of $79,500000 submitted by CLMS is hereby accepted. Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for said project as specified within the bid proposal and the City's bid documents on file in the Division of Parks Operations. Section 3. This resolution shall take effect and be in force upon passage in accordance with Sectio /4.04(a) of the Revised Charter. Anderson,, Director of Parks Operations Rel: Resolution 69-16 - 2017 Facilities Landscape Maintenance On Monday, November 21, 2016, bids were open for the 2017 Facilities Landscape Maintenance. Three (3) bids were received: Rocky Fork Company Brightview Lf7` L M S The funds for this contract are included in the submitted 2017 Parks Operations Operating budget. This maintenance contract includes all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the maintenance of various landscaped areas and turf areas at City facilities. StaN conducted a site visit, met with the owner and the CFO, and checked references on previous $1 jobs. They have the equipment, facility and staff to perform the contract, therefore Staff is recommending adoption of Resolution 69-16, accepting CLIAS base bid of $79,500.00,
