HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 068-16RECORD OF RESOLUTIONS Dayton Legal Blank, Inc., Form No. 30045 Resolution No. 68 -16 Passed A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE LOWEST AND BEST BID FOR THE 2017 SOUTH LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR THE PROJECT, 20 WHEREAS, formal advertising and competitive bidding procedures have been conducted, pursuant to Section 8.04 of the Revised Charter, for the 2017 South Landscape Maintenance; and WHEREAS, Council has determined that the base bid in the amount of $193,648.00 submitted by Rocky Fork Company is the lowest and best bid; and WHEREAS, this project is programmed in the 2017 Operating Budget; and WHEREAS, funding will be available in the 2017 Operating Budget. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State of Ohio, of the elected members concurring, that: Section 1. The base bid in the amount of $193,648.00 submitted by Rocky Fork Company is hereby accepted. Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for said project as specified within the bid proposal and the City's bid documents on file in the Division of Parks Operations, Section 3. Anderson,, Director of Parks Operations Rev., Resolution 68-16 - 2017 South Landscape Maintenance On Monday, November 21, 2016, bids were open for the 2017 South Landscape Maintenance. Two (2) bids were received -, Brightview Rocky Fork Company The funds for this contract are included in the submitted 2017 Parks Operations Operating budget. This maintenance contract includes all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the maintenance of various landscaped areas and turf within rights-of-way areas, Staff is recommending adoption of Resolution 68-16, accepting Rocky Fork's base bid of $193,648.00. Rocky Fork has done work for the City of Dublin and staff has found their work to b satisfactory. I
