Form No. 1097 ~ II eld JANUARY 20, 1975 19 ,... I The January 20, 1975, meeting of the Village of Dublin Council was called to order by the Mayor Jospeh Dixon. Roll call as follows: Charles Coffman, presen Lewis Geese, present; Catherine Headlee, present; Charles Hicks, present; Robert Karrer, present; Wilbur Ulre~ present. The minutes of the January 6 meeting were read, Cotfman moved ~pproval of the minutes, Headlee seconded, al voted in favor of approval. Ordinance 4-75 naming John Moffitt to a six year term on the planning and zoning commission was read for a second time. Mayor DiXDn noted that five epople had expressed interest in the position but restated his nomination of John Moffitt, Charles Mand asked that aletter be read and presented petitions asking that a new person be named to the the post. Willima Callahan and Ron Da is aJ also spoke about new for a new person on Dlanning and zoning commission. After council took no action, Soliticor Richardson announced that according to state code the ~ayor has the power to make appointments to planning and zoning commissions without the concurrence of council. Dixon then restated his appointment of John Moffitt. Resolution 01-75 estimating the amounts available from Dublic funds for inacti and active deposites was introduced by Karrer and read by the c12rk, Hikks mo"ed to dispense with the three time reading rule, K~rr~r seconded, Geese abstained and all other voted for the motion and the resolution. Resolution 2-75 authorizing the mayor and clerk treasurer to execute an agreemt wit! with Board of County Commissioners pursuant to the housing and community develo ment act of 1974 was introduced by Ulrey and rad by the clerk, Ul:'~ey moved to dispense with the three time reading rule, Coffman seconded, all voted in favor of the motion and the resolution. ".... Resolution 3-75 regarding the proDosal of a storm drainage policy planning project was intrdduced by Geese, all votd in favor of the resolution. -- Ordinance 06-75 providing for a change in zoning of certain real estate from agricultural residential to community commercial and suburban office was intro- duced by Karrer and read by the clerk. William Moler spoke in favor of the ordiance and rezoning and Frank Dunbar representing an adjoining property spoke against the ordinance and rezoning. Council asked that pooponents provide more information a out sewage disposal before action is taken. Council instructed village adminstrator Sheldon to rehire M'crtha Wacker as a recreation leader for the summer of 1975.
