All officials presented their Certificates of Election and si-~ned Oath of' Office affidavi t witnessed by Judge Rose. Moved by Shriver and seconded Eberly yes Eger yes Karrer yes by Larsen that the Larsen Shri ver' Williams bills yes yes yes be paid. Moved by Williams and seconded by Eger that the Village of Dublin hire the Franklin County Patrol on a permanent basis. (They had been temporarily engaged since Dec. 17th, 1955). Remuner'a tion for police services to be $2.00 per hour - 8 hoursvper' day. Audi tor's Report for period 1/1/53 to 4/28/55 was pl'es ented to Council by the Cler'k. In compliance with thi s report, motion VJUS made by Shriver and seconded by Karrer that the Plain City Farmer's Bank be offic~ally selected for deposits for the Village of Dublin. Eberly yes Eger yes Karrer' yes Larsen Shriver Williams yes yes yes Resolution No.1-56 was introduced by Karrer and seconded by Eberly to the effect that Council approve and accept the annexation of territory in Washington Twp., south of and adjacent to the Village of .' ..-:;:.... 212 Dublin, Ohio, known as Gould Addition. This annexation was approved by the County Commiss ioners on Dec. 9th, 1955. Necessar'y papers and maps to be filed with County Recorder and Secr'etary of State, by Clerk, to complete the tlhansaction. County Audit~r's office, and Board'- of Elections, to be advised by letter, with attached map, regarding ::l the newly annexed territory. ..
