rEhe Regular Honthly Meeting of the Council of the Village of
Dublin, Ohio, was held December 5th, 1955, with Mayor James Yeager
presiding.

The minutes of the last meeting were read and a motion was made
by Larsefu: and seconded by Daniels that the November bills be
corrected to include qplOO.OO for' salary for' May or Yeager for
the month of November 1955.

Mr. D. V. Thibaut, Chief Deputy from the Sheriff's office was
present and told of the workings of the Sheriff's office and the
possibility of helping us with our piicing problems. He suggested
that we try to help the Sheriff's office to get more cars so they
might have two or' three cars .f~.tml.X for use in the Northwest section
of the County.
It was suggested that Mayor Yeager contact the Franklin County Patrol
to see if the Village of Dublin could work out an arrangement
with them for service in conjunction with their present services to
Hilliard.

Ordinance No. l-55 entitle d "Sal3.r'ies of Village Officials" was
introduced and moved for adoption by Daniels and seconded by Larsen.
'1'his Ordinance provides that 'l'reasurer' s salal'y for' 1956-57 be 2;S
of expenditures, as at present. Clerk's salry to be ~15o.oo J
annually. May6r~~ salary to be ~15o.uo annually, unless Mayor's i'.'
Court is held, in which case ~4o.oo per month, additional, will
be paid for extra duties involved.

Moved by Williams and seconded by Thomas that Council dispense
with the rules requiring 3 separate readings on different days, and
instead that the Clerk read the Ordinance in title only for two times
and Ordinance be advanced to it's 3rd and final reading.

it's third and final reading and be declared a law after the time
presecribed by law.
