Garwick, P.E., Senior Civil Engineer Re: Resolution No. 65 -15 2015 Storm Structure Project — Bid Acceptance Summary The annual Storm Structure Project specifically provides for the maintenance, rehabilitation, and repair of structures associated with the public storm sewer system, which includes curb and gutter inlets, catch basins and manholes throughout the community. The annual Storm Structure Maintenance Project is a critical component of the City's on -going efforts to maintain Dublin's public infrastructure and meet the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Phase II regulations. The 2015 budgeted funds for this project are $260,000 from the Capital Improvements Tax Fund (a portion of the $560,000 that was provided for annual storm water maintenance in 2015) and represent a bid amount for labor and material costs to repair the deficiencies in 120 storm structures identified during inspections. Storm structure inspection data, now being collected by City staff, may provide justification for increasing the funds programmed in the future years. On August 19, 2015, one bid was received, publicly opened and read for the 2015 Storm Structure Project. Columbus Asphalt Paving, Inc. provided the lowest and best bid of $252,271.50.
