An Ordinance Amending The Annual Appropriations Ordinance For The
Fiscal Year Ending December 31, 2002
WHEREAS, Section 5705.40 of the Ohio Revised Code allows for supplemental
appropriations to be made to an appropriations measure provided sufficient
resources are available; and
WHEREAS, the Ohio Revised Code requires, when necessary, amendments to
the annual appropriations measure to be made in order that appropriations are not
over expended; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the annual appropriations measure to
provide funding for City sponsorship of the Wendy's Championship for Children
Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) tournament to be held at Tartan
Fields Golf Club in August, 2002; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the annual appropriations measure to
provide funding for design of Phase 1 of the Historic Dublin Stormwater
Improvements.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin,
State of Ohio, ~ of the elected members concurring that:
Section 1. There be appropriated from the unappropriated balance in the
General Fund the amount of $35,000 to account number 101-0113-710-2812 to
provide funding for City sponsorship of the Wendy's Championship for Children
LPGA tournament to beheld at Tartan Fields Golf Club in August, 2002.
Section 2. There be appropriated from the unappropriated balance in the
Capital Improvements Tax Fund the amount of $292,800 to account number 401-
0314-780-2562 to provide funding for design of Phase 1 of the Historic Dublin
Stormwater Improvements.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force in accordance with
Section 4.04(a) of the Dublin City Charter.

Ordinance 23-02 is necessary to amend annual appropriations in the General Fund, and in the Capital
Improvements Tax Fund.
Section 1 appropriates funding in the General Fund for City sponsorship of the Wendy's Championship
for Children Ladies Professional Golf Association Tournament to be held at Tartan Fields Golf Club in
August, 2002. As directed by City Council, the funding appropriated for this purpose is $35,000. The
attached agreement outlines the benefits to Dublin associated with that sponsorship.
Section 2 appropriates funding for design of Phase 1 of the Historic Dublin Stormwater Improvements
Project. This funding includes design costs and a five percent contingency. This appropriation reflects
City Council's direction to pursue completion of these improvements over atwo-year period as described
in the memo dated January 31, 2002.

Dear Sandra:
This will confirm our agreement between the City of Dublin and the Wendy's
Championship for Children at Tartan Fields (WCFC) under the following terms and
conditions:
1. City of Dublin will provide WCFC with the following:
i) Payment of a sponsorship fee of Thirty Five Thousand Dollars ($35,000)
(the ~~Sponsorship Fee's;
2. In consideration of the fee described in Paragraph 1 above, WCFC agrees to
provide City of Dublin with the following benefits:
i.) Recognition as Title Sponsor* of the °City of Dublin Ladies Day Forum
and Golf Outing" to be held Monday, July 29th at The Golf Club of Dublin,
including the following amenities:
Name /logo recognition on all event collateral materials
Opportunity for City of Dublin representative to address
attendees
Opportunity to connect event with Dublin Civic Group
Eight (8) invitations to luncheon and LPGA golf clinic
Two (2) foursomes within the nine-hole golf outing
* WCFC reserves the right to include a presenting sponsor for the luncheon and / or golf outing portion of
the "City of Dublin Ladies Day Forum and Golf Outing."

ii.) Recognition as host of the Championship Pro-Am Draw Party, to be held
Tuesday, July 30th at the Golf Club of Dublin, including the following
amenities:
Name /logo recognition on all event collateral materials
. Opportunity for designated City of Dublin representative to
address attendees
Twenty (20) invitations
iii.) Access to WCFC tournament name and logo for romotional marketing

Four (4) Pro-Am gift packages
Four (4) Pro-Am contestant credentials providing weeklong
grounds and clubhouse access
ix.) Four (4) Skybox Club tickets each day (Friday -Sunday).
x.) Complimentary beverage service including beer, wine, and soft drinks
within the Skybox Club (Friday -Sunday).
xi.) Four (4) Hospitality Club Passes (valid for Hospitality Club and Clubhouse
access Friday -Sunday).
xii.) Complimentary buffet lunch and beverage service including beer, wine,
and soft drinks within the Hospitality Club (Friday -Sunday).
xiii.) Thirty (30) Clubhouse Badges.
xiv.) Twenty (20) AnyDay Tickets.
xv.) Four (4) Clubhouse Parking Passes.
xvi.) Eight (8) Patron Parking Passes.
xvii.) One (1) foursome in the Tournament Sponsors outing on Monday, August
5th at Tartan Fields Golf Club.
3. This agreement shall be applicable to the 2002 Wendy's Championship for
~ Children at Tartan Fields. City of Dublin shall have the first right to negotiate a
similar contract for the 2003 event.
4. Twenty five percent (25%) of the sponsorship fee described in paragraph 1 shall
due no later than March 15, 2002. The balance of the sponsorship fee shall be
due no later than July 12, 2002.
