AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A
1.25 ACRE, MORE OR LESS, TRACT OF LAND, FROM
EVELYN L. DAMS, LOCATED AT 4070 BRIGHT ROAD, CITY
OF DUBLIN, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO.
WHEREAS, an alignment study has been completed for the future construction of
Emerald Parkway from Hard Road to Riverside Drive; and
WHEREAS, a 1.25-acre tract of land located at 4070 Bright Road needs to be acquired
for the construction of Emerald Parkway between Hard Road and Riverside Drive; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into an agreement to purchase the property
located at 4070 Bright Road, in the City of Dublin, Franklin County, Ohio, as described
in the attached Exhibit "A", for the amount of One Hundred Sixty-Five Thousand
Dollars ($165,000.00).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council, of the City of Dublin,
state of Ohio, of the elected members concurring that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an Agreement to
Purchase and any necessary closing documents related to the acquisition of the 1.25-
acre, more or less, tract of land and paying related costs.
Section 2. There be appropriated from the Capital Improvements Tax Fund One
Hundred Sixty-Five Thousand Dollars ($165,000.00) to account 401-0314-780-2510,
for the purchase of acquiring the 1.25 acre, more or less, tract of land and paying any
r..~ related acquisition costs.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the
earliest date permitted by law.

Situated in the County of Franklin, State of Ohio, and in the Township of Perry,
and bounded and described as follows:
Situated in Perry Township, Range 19, Township 2, Section 2, Franklin County,
Ohio, and being a parcel out of a 12.93 acre tract of the southwest section of a 46.92 acre
Mw tract described in Deed Book 1277, Page 246, Recorder's Office, Franklin County, Ohio,
the boundaries of said parcels being described as follows:
Parcel #1 -Beginning at an iron pin in the center line of Bright Road, said Iron
pin being the southwest corner of said 12.93 acre tract and being also the southwest
corner of said 46.92 acre tract mentioned above; thence N. 0 degrees 08' W. with the
west line of said 12.93 acre tract and passing an iron pin at 18.12 feet, a total distance of
465.42 feet to an iron pin; thence S. 87 degrees 44' E. a distance of 121.44 feet to a point
in the center of a creek; thence S. 0 degrees 08' E., with a line parallel to the first
described line and passing iron pins at 85.31 feet and 429.50 feet, a total distance of
449.50 feet to a spike in the center line of Bright Road; thence S. 84 degrees 36' W., a
distance of 121.85 feet to the place of beginning, containing 1.248 acres and st?bject to all
legal highways.
